The third month of the year is already well under way and a lot is happening in the sphere of climate and environment worldwide. Increased demand means hectic and developing days at LCA.no and we are pleased that we have strengthened ourselves with several new colleagues. In January, we welcomed Katarina Radunovic to the Customer Success team and Pedro Ferreìra started as LCA consultant on 1 February.
We have welcomed several talented individuals to the LCA.no team, with more new colleagues set to join us in the coming months for both the Key Account team and as additional LCA consultants. As the demand for environmental documentation continues to rise, we recognize that our customers’ needs are evolving and becoming more intricate. Currently, we are actively seeking a skilled project manager to enhance our project department.
At the end of April we will be attending Nordbygg in Stockholm , feel free to book a chat with Inger Johanne or Bjørn already now if you are going the same way.
Our CEO Trond Edvardsen will participate in ECO Platform’s conference in Brussels in May, where the heading is “EPD Automation.” The demand for verified environmental documentation is brought forward by increasingly strict legislation, and then it must be both time- and cost-effective. In Brussels, some of the leading people in the field are gathering and we look forward to contributing to the conference.
We are fortunate to have a wonderful network of loyal customers and partners who consistently push us to stay ahead of the curve. Working with a diverse range of clients who offer various services and products, we have the privilege of thinking holistically and staying updated with industry trends.
Our R&D department has just participated in the kick-off of the BATTCHAIN project, which will develop a sustainable supply chain for batteries. Every day at LCA.no is filled with excitement and innovation, as our R&D department provides endless opportunities for learning and growth, benefiting both our customers and the environment. Feel free to tune in to Mie’s recent podcast contribution for aquaculture (norwegian language).
We are actively assisting numerous clients in meeting the criteria for environmental documentation required for public tenders. Additionally, an increasing number of clients are intrigued by the implications of the EU’s digital product passport mandate on their businesses. The EU’s mandate for manufacturers and importers to digitally declare all relevant product data when bringing products to the market has opened up a golden opportunity for many to enhance the climate footprint of their products and services.
2023 marked a milestone year for EPDs and environmental documentation, but the journey towards sustainability is just getting started…
