The Role

As our new System Architect, you will play a key role in designing and maintaining the technical architecture behind our environmental documentation tools. You will work closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure our systems are scalable, secure, and aligned with business and user needs.

Your responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain technical architecture for our SaaS solutions
  • Translate business and user requirements into robust technical specifications
  • Ensure architecture supports agile development, scalability, and operational efficiency
  • Manage and optimize Azure infrastructure and services
  • Ensure technical compliance with ISO 27001, including security measures and documentation
  • Lead technical design decisions in development projects
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies and tools
  • Define and implement technical guidelines and best practices
  • Identify technical risks and implement mitigation strategies

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is both technically strong and strategically minded – with the ability to balance long-term architectural thinking with hands-on involvement.

You likely have:

  • A bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or similar
  • 5+ years of experience as a system architect, developer, or technical lead (SaaS experience is a plus)
  • Experience with agile methodologies and tools (Jira, Confluence)
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Intune, and related Microsoft technologies
  • Understanding of system integrations and API design
  • Familiarity with relational databases (SQL)
  • Strong interest in sustainability and green tech
  • Proficiency in both English and Norwegian (written and spoken)
