In 2023, EPD-Norway introduced a financial support scheme for businesses that wanted to develop EPD tools. It has been a great success and will be continued in 2025.
An EPD tool is a software generator that simplifies and automates the development of EPDs in a cost and time-efficient manner. The purpose of the support scheme is mainly to trigger and contribute to decisions on the development of EPD tools and thereby actively contribute to the development of more EPDs in new and/or existing sectors.

EPD-Norway can finance up to 50% of the costs for the development of EPD tools and up to NOK 200,000.
