Meet Daniela Hovland – our new Key Account Manager

At LCA.no, we are proud to welcome Daniela Hovland as our new Key Account Manager. She combines a strong professional background with a genuine passion for sustainability, and she has already proven herself as someone who sees both the bigger picture and the details – always with the customer at the center.

Background and introduction

Daniela holds a degree in Finance from Bocconi University in Milan and Computer Science from the University of Pisa. She has combined the analytical understanding from finance with commercial experience from sales and leadership – a combination she now puts to active use at LCA.no.

“I use this background to create value for our customers through advisory, structure, and relationship building.”

She has many years of experience in client management and sales, including as a Key Account Manager in the packaging industry, where she managed key accounts, quality, and complex supply chains. This experience has made her confident in navigating demanding projects. – “I’ve learned the importance of being both an advisor and a problem solver – something that is absolutely essential when we help companies meet increasingly strict sustainability requirements.”

Culture, language, and relationships

Growing up in Italy gave Daniela a strong understanding of the value of personal relationships and trust in business. She is fluent in four languages – Italian, Norwegian, English, and Spanish – and can therefore represent LCA.no naturally in international markets.

“My cultural understanding allows me to read situations, adapt communication, and build strong relationships across cultures. This gives LCA.no a clear competitive advantage as we expand outside of Norway, particularly in Southern Europe.”

Why LCA.no?

For Daniela, the choice to join LCA.no was easy.

“I wanted to be part of a company that combines technology and sustainability in a concrete and practical way. What truly motivated me was the opportunity to help build something that not only supports our customers in solving challenges but also has a positive impact on society.”

She describes working with sustainability and environmental documentation as especially meaningful. – “I see my role as a bridge between LCA.no’s solutions and the customers’ needs, so that we don’t just deliver a system, but also security, efficiency, and insight.”

She finds the company’s vision clear and forward-looking. “The solutions make complex requirements easy to handle, and I see great potential for further growth – both in Norway and internationally, especially in Italy.”

Competence and experience

Daniela’s previous roles have provided her with a broad and valuable skill set. From the banking sector, she brings experience in finance, risk management, and structure. From the packaging industry, she learned to handle complex processes and ensure quality under pressure. From sales and leadership, she has gained the ability to build strong relationships, negotiate agreements, and see solutions from the customer’s perspective.

“All of this gives me a solid foundation to create value for LCA.no’s customers.”

As a Key Account Manager, she describes her strengths as follows: “I combine analytical skills from finance with a relationship-oriented approach from sales. I am structured, solution-oriented, and used to working in demanding markets – and that gives customers confidence in us.”

Customer perspective

For Daniela, customer relationships are true partnerships.

“I want customers to see LCA.no as a strategic partner – not just a supplier. To me, that means listening, understanding their needs, and following them closely so they always feel confident that we deliver quality and value.”

She points out that many companies experience sustainability requirements as complex and time-consuming. “This is where LCA.no can be the solution, by providing a tool that gives oversight, simplifies documentation, and makes the process efficient and reliable – while also giving customers security through personal follow-up.”

Future and motivation

Daniela looks forward to contributing to LCA.no’s growth and international development.

“I’m excited to build strong and trusting relationships with customers, open doors in new markets, and help LCA.no become a concrete reality in Italy.”

For the first year, she has set herself clear goals: to become a trusted advisor for key customers, strengthen the company’s position in Norway, and lay the foundation for expansion in Southern Europe.

She also sees how the role of Key Account Manager will evolve: “Customers don’t just need a system, they need a partner who can translate complex requirements into concrete actions. LCA.no can be that partner.”

A personal touch

Behind the professional role, Daniela also brings a creative and grounded side. She loves cooking, playing music, spending time outdoors, and being with her family. “It gives me energy, balance, and inspiration – resources I bring with me into my role at LCA.no.”

She smiles when asked about her home country: “I miss the food, the sun, and the spontaneous culture around the table. At the same time, I truly appreciate the nature, safety, and work-life balance in Norway – it gives me peace and inspiration.”

She also shares a story from her time in the packaging industry: “Once, we received an urgent case from a customer with the wrong specifications. Instead of stopping the process, we worked together with the customer and supplier to find a creative adjustment – and the solution actually worked better than planned. For me, it was a reminder that small problems can become big opportunities when you collaborate and think flexibly.”

Daniela Hovland is more than a Key Account Manager. She is a bridge between cultures, a trusted advisor for customers, and a driving force for sustainable solutions. We look forward to seeing how her competence, dedication, and personal drive will help take LCA.no forward – both in Norway and internationally.
