In Italy, around 17,000 companies produce construction products, but only 4,100 EPDs are currently registered with an Italian code. Globally, the market is preparing for a massive leap: from 45,000 EPDs today to over 300 million EPD/DoPC/DPP in the coming years, driven by European regulation (CPR, the Digital Product Passport) and public tenders increasingly focused on environmental transparency.
