Svensk Ventilation and LCA.no are entering an industry collaboration to make it easier for Swedish ventilation companies to handle increasing requirements for sustainability reporting and environmental documentation. The partnership will give the sector improved access to knowledge, tools, and methods for documenting environmental impact in an efficient and transparent way.
The ventilation sector in Sweden is facing increasingly strict requirements related to climate declarations, life cycle assessments, and European regulations such as the Digital Product Passport (DPP) and the ESPR regulation. This affects manufacturers, installers, and system suppliers, who must now provide traceable and comparable data on the environmental and climate footprint of their products.
The collaboration between Svensk Ventilation and LCA.no aims to simplify this work. By combining the sector’s technical expertise with LCA.no’s digital solutions, ventilation companies gain a clearer pathway to producing standardized and verifiable environmental information.
“The need for clear and quality-assured environmental data is growing rapidly in Sweden. Through this discount agreement, we want to expand opportunities for our members to access relevant tools and services that strengthen their environmental documentation work,” says Andreas Martinsson Björkdahl, Technical and Environmental Manager at Svensk Ventilation.
“The Swedish ventilation industry is at the forefront of developing energy-efficient buildings. We are pleased to provide solutions that make it easier to document environmental impact in a consistent and reliable way,” says Cato Hansen, Key Account Manager at LCA.no.
Through the collaboration, the parties aim to:
• strengthen knowledge of LCA and EPDs in the ventilation sector
• make it easier for the industry to meet new European requirements for transparency and traceability
• ensure better access to methods for documenting environmental impact
• support the development of more sustainable and energy-efficient buildings
The agreement marks an important step for the sector, providing better support for documenting climate and environmental data in line with regulations, market expectations, and requirements from developers and contractors.
