Jeroen has taken his bachelor’s degree in Science, Business and Innovation at the VU Amsterdam with a specialization in innovation validation. For his master’s degree in Sustainable Manufacturing, he is educated from the NTNU in Trondheim and specialized in environmental impact.
The bachelor’s degree focused on innovation management within the energy sector, bridging the gap between research inventions and successful new products and services on the market. His master’s degree has given more insight into the production side with a strong focus on the environmental impact of growing manufacturing needs.
Jeroen has written his masters thesis research in collaboration with the Norwegian Public Road Administration. An LCA study was done on the suspension bridge concepts for the Langenuen fjord crossing with the goal to analyze whether an aluminum bridge girder could yield a lower environmental impact compared to steel.
